Our Valentine's day was simple and fun. I read to a cute bunch of Kindergartner's, and hung out with Dane for the morning. We went shopping and to lunch at Chili's, my favorite. The three younger kids came home happy. They loved our yard being decorated by the cute girls in our ward. Katie first thought they were cupid's arrows. Then today she says she hopes Dad is always the Bishop so it will happen again and again. (Not sure about that....) Thomas joined the party after soccer practice and we love having him home. That's rare. We had a red dinner (tradition.) After dinner we watched Here comes the Boom and headed off to bed. Dane and I went to sleep feeling loved and very blessed. It was a day of reflection too because 18 years ago he proposed to me. It's hard to believe but I've been with Dane longer than the time I spent at home.

Kaija had so much fun with the Activity Day girls heart-attacking your family! Lots of love to you all! Your kitchen looks beautiful, too. And one of these days I hope we see you at a chess tournament.
