This was a day that we, as parents, have been looking forward to for a long time. All of our kids playing in the same chess tournament. If your a kindergartner you can play. This was Katie's first time and most likely Thomas last time. His schedule is full. The only hiccup to this long awaited planned day was the tournament used new software to calculate the scores. It ended up crashing after 3 games and in the about of time it takes to play 5. It turned into the longest day of chess ever....EVER. I felt so bad for my kiddos. They all worked hard to get ready. Maybe next time we'll be able to finish the 5 games. Who knows. Gotta love new software. Ugh.
