Imagine that. Kaylyn is 13. Full of life and a little spice too. For her day we have a lot of traditions that must be done. This year is was no exception. She likes to a birthday shirt, balloons, one for every year, and presents that must be surprise and better than anything she could have picked for herself. She likes confetti on the table too plus she must be woken to all us singing to her. Then there's picking what she wants to do for the day and the ever traditional cake. But it's so much fun because she loves it and I love seeing her so happy. I was really happy that her sweet friend Jenny treated her to ice cream after school. Plus sweet Jenny sang to her 13 times and made her have a great day at school. Friends like that are a true blessing. This year she choice dinner and a movie. We ate at Longhorn and saw the Avengers. Plus the next day Dad took her to another movie the Dark Knight Rises. We love this girl of ours. Truly a joy in our lives.

I've enjoyed catching up on your blog. I was working on a project downstairs today and came across the picture of our families at the arch, remember when we went to the top? :) Such fun memories. Miss you!
