Kaylyn

Kaylyn~my Bear. Summer is over for her. She starts Middle School tomorrow.Hard to believe. Then in a few weeks she will be a teenager. Here's a recap of her summer.

-She did lots of camps. First, band camp, then a camp with her two buddies and then Girls Camp. The real deal. She had a great time. I was nervous sending her. The ropes course was not her favorite thing ever. But she did it. I was so proud that she accomplished it. She tackled a challenge.

-She made lots of progress on her YW Personal Progress. Biggest accomplishment was reading the Book of Mormon in 40 days.

-She went to Nashville with me so many times I lost count. My favorite thing to do on those trips was to listen to her play list. You can learn a lot about someone by doing that. I learned so much on those trips.

-I and our home would not survive without her during the summer. There isn't a task that she can't do. She is awesome that way.

-She hung out with friends this summer. A new thing to her. She would get so excited to go. I loved her branching out just a little and enjoy what friendship has to offer.

-She's grown. Her feet are bigger than mine. I am predicting she'll be the tallest in the family.

-She was my companion and helper on lots of trips to the YMCA.

-And last but not least, this girl read A LOT this summer. She loves to read. Many days were spent with her up in her room just reading away.

I love this one. This year will be a good one. I look forward to watching Kaylyn blossom.

Middle school!! I think she will do GREAT! Kaylyn has an adorable personality. I know why you say she is a keeper. I liked Thomas's post as well. They both look SO OLD in these pictures!
