-Driving. The best idea ever! He goes places on his own, runs his own schedule and than will run errands for me. He even asks to! It's been fantastic.
-50 mile canoe trip. He and friend had a remarkable day canoeing and it was so fun to hear about it.
-Hanging out with Zach. Funny how life happens sometimes. That was precious time.
-Reading. He read just for the pleasure. That is something he hasn't done in a while.
-Friends!! My boy has been hanging out with friends. Swimming, basketball, movies and lots of pizza.
-A getaway to Georgia with the Smith's. That was just cool.
-Band Camp. 2 weeks this time. Never once did he complain. In fact he was happier when he came home.
-As always, he's been a huge help to me and a great big brother. His patience is grand and his love is felt.
2012-2013 school year starts Monday. He's going to have a great year. He's got his watch, which is a must have. This year was the record, 4 stores and 3 hours time. He is starting out at a brand new high school. It is awesome. He can't wait to go. Marching Band-it's going to be a great experience this year. I really like his director and the band room is so impressive. He's thrilled for seminary this year. Everyday he grows up more and more. He's a keeper and I am so excited for him. There are great things in store for him.

Did you hear Savannah and Christian popped in at your house Saturday? We were at Alisha's pool with family and friends and the kids heard that Thomas and lots of friends were hanging out there. So in wet bathing suits they begged us to drive them over to say a quick HI! So fun!
