When you really think about it.......

I would have made a perfect April Fool's baby. It fits me. I enjoy a good joke and I certainly enjoy making people laugh and smile. My mom would also say I added "spice" to her life. That is a nice way of describing me. But alas I am no April Fool. Instead my mom did everything she could to ensure I had a March birthday. I was born 5 hours short of April 1. I love having a March birthday. I do have to wait all month long to get there. But throughout the month I get to celebrate lots of other birthdays and enjoy spring. Yesterday was my day. I played with this one. She sang to me a lot.
We went to the park.
The girls made the cake and the boys decorated it.
We had a bonfire in the house. (27 is a lot of candles.)

And just for posterity here is a list of my day. Woke up to singing, got new blue rays, went to the doctor, got ice cream at Brusters, a sweet, sweet friend made me lunch and then shared cheesecake and chocolate mousse with me, soccer practice, a court of honor, Red Robin the night before, Taco Bell for dinner, a package surprise on my door, great phone calls from loved ones, well wishes, American Idol, a bubble bath, long stemmed roses from my best friend and then a nice movie with him too. Couldn't ask for a better day.
