Our Fourth of July.

This year we were so lucky to have Jane, Grace and Alayna come to visit. Last year they were here too. I am loving this tradition. They flew into Nashville and we picked them up. We had a rainy BBQ dinner back at home and headed to the Rocket Center to see the fireworks. It was too rainy to do our fireworks. But down there it was so busy and people would just park on the sidewalk and such. I decided the only way for us to find a parking spot was to pull a U turn and drive onto the sidewalk. It was rather funny and Dane behind me did the same. We watched the fireworks for just a little bit till the rain started pouring. We were soaked. And as I was pulling onto the on ramp with signs flashing no parking there were car after car parked. Even with the police force right there people just parked basically anywhere. We had a fun time making fun of that and trying to get dry. It's amazing how fun life can be with the ones you love.
