Family night.

Family night. We enjoyed being all together for a night. We had a musical number by Katie and carved pumpkins. Carving pumpkins ended up being a 2 night project as Tyler's pumpkin was rotten. We went to 4 grocery stores with no pumpkins. Tyler's sensitive and I thought he was going to fall apart when out of the corner of my eye I saw him say a prayer. He was calmed and knew it would work out. I ended up buying a white squash. Then I drove by a Mexican restaurant that had lots of painted pumpkins. I went in and asked if I could buy one. They said sure. Tyler than got in the car and said "God works in mysterious ways." I would say so. We are on night 2. Kaylyn is still working on hers. We will be ready for Halloween. Just 2 more days. 

One more fun story. We were late buying pumpkins this year. So when we went the selection was terrible. However, I spied a perfect pumpkin. I picked it up for Thomas. When we got home Katie claimed it as her. It was too funny. But to Katie's credit she did give Thomas the best pumpkin to carve. And Kaylyn said Halloween is her favorite Holiday because she gets to carve a pumpkin.
