I'm a little bit band geek. Only problem is that most band geeks are pretty great musicians. Not in my case. I played flute and did the color guard all through high school. Was I any good? Nope. But I know band lingo. When I heard that the Drum and Bugle Corps were coming to Alabama A&M I had to go. Just me going wasn't going to as much fun as bringing the whole crew. Our favorite Jersey Surf. Sentimental favorite the Blue Knights from Denver. Have to say it was fun but I think next time I'll just check out half time shows at football games.
