This Thanksgiving is one for the record books that is for sure. We all, not one escaped, having the flu. We all fell ill at some point. It put a damper on things for sure. But there were highlights. After the Merrris' drove through the night they arrived. The cousins were so thrilled to be together. Cindy said something to the effect that it's always so much work to travel but you do it for the kids because the kids are so happy to be together. It's ever so true. It's worth every minute you get to be together as a family. We got to meet the newest Merris, Cambrie, watch movies, bowled with Grandpa and Grandma, saw the Rockette's, played games, hiked the swamp, had a hot breakfast everyday, decorated our tree, got ice cream, reassured my place as favorite aunt with Gigi's cupcakes and rainbow jello and laid around sick. Good times. I didn't get many pictures but here is what I have. I plan to have a much healthier Thanksgiving next year.
