I really wanted to boycott all holidays this year and either travel or try something new. Last year I was literally worn out from all the to do. Then the Prophet announced the new missionary age of 18 which means Thomas will be serving a mission in 18 months. So my time feels like it's gone. I feel like I better stick with traditions and just move on. So Monday morning I went to get pumpkins. There were 10 left and I picked the last ones that stood up. So sad. I know. And so not like me but we did get them carved. This year Tyler carved a raven all on his own. He really did not want help. Kaylyn did not waiver in her tradition of doing the hardest design and being the last to finish with precision. This year she was in the kitchen signing to Taylor Swift. Moments like that make me think I'll keep a few more traditions.....maybe.
Alright. Here it is. Proof again that my genes of sticking the tongue out goes on. We are 4/4. Tyler was holding out on us. But in this photo you can see it. Thanks, Mom. It comes from her.
