Grandma and Grace arrived on Monday, but due to Zach's sickness they left quickly on Saturday. I'll get to Zach in the the next post but for now I'll show you our quick trip.
They arrived in Nashville which meant a trip to one of my favorite cities!
We headed to the Opry Mills mall again. This time we ate at the Rain Forest Cafe. It was a place that Tyler and Katie had no memory of. My Mom even ordered the volcano. That was super fun.
One night we had dinner at Lawler's. We had never been and I was delighted at how nice it was. This was Thomas first time to see everyone. He had gone to Atlanta with Gurden for a few days. We were all glad to have him home. I love that boy.
Summer fun calls for Strawberry Shortcake. So delicious.
Grace was a treat to have. She fit right in and entertained my kids for hours. They literally never stopped talking. It was so fun. We had such fun just hanging out. She's sure is growing up.
The last night they were here we headed to the Drive Inn. The movie playing was Madagascar 3. Not our first choice or even on our list of movie's to see but it was fun having the experience. In fact I'd love to go back.
A few other things: we swam, had Gigi's and played Barbie's. Good times. Now we're just hoping they'll come back next year. We sure had a great time in a short about of time. Till next time.....
