Our Grandpa wanted to see the kids in their chess tournament. On the day of Katie just wanted to be with her Grandpa. So I headed out there after lunch to join the party at the school cafeteria. Katie was happy to see her sissy.

I know, I know Katie's eyes are funky. But I love seeing Grandpa in the background. It's cute.
Here is Tyler. He won two out of five games this time. Way to go Tyler.
Thomas is obviously having a great time. He won 2 game and tied one out of five games. He didn't place this time but he sure had fun.
And this Kaylyn of ours won three of her five games and got a medal. Here she is coming in after her last win. Pretty exciting stuff.
And here she is getting her medal. Way to go Bear. She pulled it out for Grandpa.

I think it is just so special of Grandpa to come out for this . . . but definitely worth it!
