The Gateway to the West.

Here we are getting out of the van. The group ran down to the Mississippi River and look at Tyler. He is staring up at the arch. I am learning that National Monuments are the places to visit. They are HUGE and breathtaking,
Our crew climbing the steps.
Another one of the Arch. It was so impressive.
The crew at the bottom of the arch.

This picture I love. I like seeing Kaylyn taking a picture of her friend. I found it sweet.
We took the pod cars up to the top, Not an easy ride for some of us. But we made it.This picture is super special to me. It was the first time I said to this little one smile and she did. Oh how she made my day by warming up to me just a bit.
The top was small and the windows were small to look out. Here is Katie and her dad checking out the view.
Busch Stadium from the top of the arch. What a sight to see.
Here's the family at 630 feet in the air.
Here's Tyler at the bottom and on our way out.
And one last one. If you look hard you can see the windows where we were looking out of. They looked a lot smaller at the top.
Thank you so much for traveling to the top with us. Such a great place to see.

Wow Karen, those pictures are great! The Arch is one of the few national monuments I haven't been too. Looks like it was fun!

OK, so I think the one of Kaylyn and B is my favorite, though you got some great shots! So, so much fun!

Awesome pictures, Karen! I've driven by the arch lots of times, but we have never stopped and admired the view. Thanks for sharing your day!

These arch pictures are awesome, I knew they would be.

I like how you phrased "not an easy ride for some of us" :) I still can't believe I did it but I am so happy to have shared that awesome experience with you. Great memories!
Thank you! Thank you!

Looks like you had fun! You are a brave woman. I don't have the courage to go up that high. Terrified actually. But thanks for sharing the view through photography. That's the best way for me to view it.
