- Pleased as can be about my Thomas. He pulled straight A's in advance classes and 3 of the 5 were 99% or more. He sure didn't get that from me.
- Why is when you are already backed up on laundry it floods not once but twice causing you to use everyone of your towels, sheets and blankets to clean it up? This morning we had one towel for the whole family and one smartie who used wash clothes to dry off after showering. Smart thinking or desperate measure.
- I am cold. Deep freeze sure puts a chill in the air.
- When I was little I loved stories about cozy homes. Winnie the Pooh's house was a dream and then there was little Ms. Suzy the squirrel and Wind in the Willows. Loved the coziness
of all of them. I always wanted a cozy home (not a tree home.) But with 6 people sometimes we need space too. But yesterday one of my children said, "Mom, isn't this cozy?" Ahhhhh. Sometime it is. - I had several major or major to me problems on my computer. My Dane came home and without hesitation or complaint sat and down and fixed them all. One by one. What a guy.
- Candles. I love them so much that I burn them quickly. Dane's mom asked if I had candles and I said nope. If I have them I burn them. My house smells lovely thanks to a beautiful candle right now.
- It always amazes me how the first day back to school after and long break is doable. The second day always seems to be a mess. Today was no exception for this family. Almost comical. But we did it.
- I started a gratitude journal this year. I am looking forward to the journey of it all.

I am FREEZING too. Our heater works... mostly. Today I even got the temp up to 62*!
I think you do have a cozy house, cozy isn't about size, it is about feeling and I think you accomplish that beautifully!

How awesome for Thomas!! I too like the thought of a cozy warm home in the winter:) In the summer I love the thought of a fun beach cottage with warm trade winds gently blowing through opened windows and doors. No bugs in my world;) All right Lady bugs are aloud!
