Eight is great....

but not so great on skates. We all went skating the last day Grandpa and Grandma were here. We all laced up. Cute Katie did real well. She wanted no help. So as soon as she fell that was it. No more skating for her.
Here is how we looked most of the time. Three in a row.

This is how far Katie got on her own. Just a second later she was flat on her bottom. But what a brave little one.
This was Thomas' second time skating and he was determined to get it. With a lot of work he finally learned to skate. SO happy for him.
One of me. Kaylyn's shirt says, "I have a Rockin Mom." I completely agree.
Grandma Bagley grew up with a roller skating rink in her house. It was fun to see her on skates and hear of the fun she had there.

There you have it. Our skating adventure.
