The Eagle has landed.

Monday was our day to head to the Rocket Center. It also happened to be the 40th anniversary of when man landed on the moon. On the way there I thought they might have something going on to celebrate. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect what we got. Every NASA employee there ever was along with their kids, cousins, great grandparents, neighbors etc. were there. The Rocket Center has never been SO busy. It was so cool and so frustrating all at the same time. But it is a day we won't soon forget.

Katie made it to the moon.

They had a section set up with kids activities. Here is Kaylyn with her straw rocket. The activities were really fun and they sent us home with tons of color book to do as well.

Tyler was so excited and brave. He climbed the rock wall for the first time.

Cute cousins.

Cute Katie.

And to celebrate the landing........ we had Moon Pies!

Fun, Fun day. And Happy Birthday Dad! What a fun thing to have happen on your day! We hope it was a great day for you too!
