Thomas is at a football game with the band and Dane took the girls to a Daddy/Daughter campout. That left me and Tyler so we had a date night. He wanted to play the Wii. It was a game I was terrible at but I was Yoshi and I loved seeing Yoshi's moves. After that we headed to Bridgestreet. Tyler's I-touch had not been working for days and I finally took it to get fixed. We were there for a while and it was a treat to see Tyler talk with people. Our technician fell in love with Tyler because of his talk about turnips and onions on his "farm". He fixed the problem and took could care of us. Yeah, for the Apple Store. We then got Tyler a helicopter balloon hat and ate some frozen yogurt. All the time holding hands and talking. What a treat. I soaked up every minute. Tyler was glad to be with me as well as having a working I-touch back. We came home watched some Scooby Doo and headed to bed. He's curled up on my bed now. I snuggled him till he fell asleep. He said it was one of his best nights ever. Nothing better than that. Tyler is my boy and I am so glad for this night I had with him.
He is such a cutie! There is nothing better than spending an evening with one of your kiddos!
ReplyDeletePrecious in every way.
ReplyDeleteOne on One time with my children is so precious... so happy for Tyler that he got you all to himself. Another sweet memory he has to tuck away in his memory. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such a wonderful evening.
ReplyDeleteWasn't last night great?!?! I know I won't have many more with Zach, but last night was great!! We went to Shaggy's for dinner and then to the dollar theatre! I loved it! And afterwards my 11-year-old son stood up and gave me a big hug as we walked out to the car. Yeah for Daddy-daughter camp outs!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a special night for both of you!
